COMSPHERE 3800 Series Modems

There are no Diagnostic Control Panel (DCP) functions
unique to fax operation. If your fax software requires that
you change the configuration of your modem, see the
appropriate sections of Chapter 9, Configur
e Branch
.
The DCP is disabled during fax operation.
Your fax software uses AT commands to tell the
modem what to do. These commands, and the replies your
modem makes (such as “OK”) may be displayed on your
computer terminal during fax operation, but this depends
on your software. Y
ou do not have to issue A
T commands
yourself, unless you use A
T commands to configure the
modem.
